Head Lice – What you need to know
The Region of Waterloo Public Health has published a brochure with important information “what you need to know about head lice”.
Signs of head lice include itchiness for lice bites, tickling feeling of something moving in the hair and severe scratching which may lead to infection.

Students can wear their costume to school – or they can wear orange and black if they would prefer.
Please avoid any gory, violent, or offensive costumes.
Students are asked not to bring weapons or wear masks.
Please check with your child’s teacher before bringing in any treats for students.
Build a Dream – November 14/19 – Young Women’s Career Exploration Event
Career possibilities for female students!
Consider attending this amazing FREE Career Discovery Expo event for Young Women on Thursday, November 14th from 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM at the Bingemans Conference Centre in Kitchener.
We know that making decisions about your future can be difficult. Build A Dream has organized this event to share with you some career options that you may not have thought about before! They would love for you to join this event to hear from successful women, meet local employers, take part in exciting interactive activities, have fun at the photo booth, and much more!
Students in Grades 7-12 along with their Parents/Guardians will have the opportunity to have your questions answered. We hope to see you at Bingemans on November 14th, 2019!
